At CNCEDGE, our typical lead time ranges from 2 to 3 weeks, depending on part complexity, material availability, and order volume. For rush orders, we can often deliver prototypes in as little as 1 to 2 weeks. Contact us with your project details and we'll provide an accurate timeline.
We machine a wide range of materials including aluminum (6061, 7075, 2024), stainless steel (303, 304, 316), carbon and alloy steels, titanium, brass, copper, Inconel, Hastelloy, and engineering plastics like Delrin, PEEK, and Ultem. If you have a specific material requirement, just ask — we're happy to discuss options.
We routinely hold tolerances of +/- 0.001" and can achieve tighter tolerances down to +/- 0.0005" depending on the material and feature. Our quality assurance process includes in-process inspection and final dimensional verification to ensure every part meets spec.
Yes — prototyping is one of our core strengths. We deliver high-quality prototypes in as little as two weeks, helping you validate your designs quickly before committing to full production. We also offer a seamless prototype-to-production transition.
We accept STEP (.step, .stp), IGES (.iges, .igs), DXF, DWG, STL, and PDF files. STEP files are preferred for 3D models as they preserve the most detail. You can upload files directly through our Request a Quote form.
Yes, CNCEDGE is ISO 9001:2015 certified. Quality is at the heart of everything we do — from advanced measurement tools and in-process inspection to full dimensional documentation and first article inspection reports (FAIR).
We have no strict minimum. We handle everything from single prototype parts to production runs of 500+ pieces. Whether you need one part or one thousand, we treat every order with the same level of precision and care.
Yes. Our team provides design for manufacturability (DFM) reviews, 2D drafting, 3D modeling, and drawing refinements. We work closely with you to ensure your design is optimized for production — saving time and reducing costs.
